Wirelaxing 07/06/08
It’s good to relax on a nice couch watching The Wire (Season 1, Disc 4, Episode 12) after a day like today. Therefore, I’m Wirelaxing.
Let’s see:
- Brunching at Bourbon in Adams Morgan,
- Hitting up some new tunes from Crooked Beat (CDs acquired: Welcome to Bollywood — a compilation of various Indian artists, and the new album from Wolf Parade),
- Short(ish) pixel session in Georgetown at the C&O Canal,
- Inspired after spending a few hours at the Eero Saarinen exhibit at the National Building Museum,
- 3 Sliders with smoked gouda cheese at Matchbox with a pear and soda (ran into Joe, his sister Mary, and Victoria at dinner btw), and
- A Whole Foods session for chicken teriyaki and other items.
Pretty standard Sunday. Wish you would have been there for some of it. Maybe next Sunday.
