walking home, reflecting on the day, not jaywalking 07/07/08

Indeed, today was slamming busy. As a small businessman, I thrive on that since it always means good things are happening.

For example…

Elizabeth Terrell started as DAG’s third so we had morning fun trying to creatively reconfigure the office space to fit another teammate. But in true DAG open/conversational style, Elizabeth just rolled her seat up to Joe’s desk and we all worked in the same space. Solid hire.

Also today we started fleshing out some deets for Facebook Apps which have been formulating around as concepts in my head for a few leading conservative non-profits that I very much hope become DAG’s next clients.

Creative concepts, thoughtful proposals, a clear understanding of the utility, and a solid record of successful deployment of Facebook Apps are key ingredients we take to the table.

You may find this ironic but I don’t personally use a lot of Facebook Apps. I’m a Facebook minimalist (note how I’ve named my personal blog–I still miss the forced “is” on the status update). However, I get that 95 percent of Facebook users do like third-party Apps.

I just walked into Whole Foods and it’s harder then you’d think to BlackBerry this post while navigating to the salad bar. I’m out.
