the end of a busy day 06/30/08
After a week away from the office on work travel, it’s been good to have a day back in the office. I was able to catch up on some bills/invoicing, begin the process of picking out some new furniture for DAG (needed because we’re bringing on an awesome new teammate July 7), and plan out the week ahead.
For some of the cool new projects we’ve been working on in the past few weeks, check out:
- WhereistheRed.com – A platform designed for the College Republican National Committee which gives you a seat with four coed college students traveling coast-to-coast only through Republican Congressional districts. Of note, this is perhaps the first political integration of FriendFeed coupled with a really neat Google Maps integration. And of course, all of this is only possible thanks to the awesome content being dished out by the WITR team.
- Another site worth checking out is HouseRepublicanPolicy.org – A platform designed for the Chairman of the House Republican Policy Committee Thad McCotter of Michigan. Of note, this site was built on Drupal and gives every Member of the Policy Committee their own individual blog to help get their message out. Make sure you stop by the Two Cents platform on the site — a utility for thinking and listening.
As you can see, we’ve been keeping busy around DAG and, as always, keeping it real. Onward.
