Just wrote a blog post at TechRepublican on John McCain’s latest TV ad, “Pump.”
I like the message and the ad but I credit the movement started by Newt Gingrich’s “Drill Here. Drill Now. Pay Less.” for getting this whole energy movement started.
Drilling for oil is a great long-term solution, but I think the more immediate solution is to return the fundamentals of supply and demand to oil markets. Excessive speculation is driving up the price of oil and in turn gasoline, diesel fuel and heating oil.
