O’Hare 06/27/08
En route to the airport to head back to our beautiful, hot, sticky and moist Washington, DC.
Chicago is definitely one of my new favorite cities. Based on the architecture alone, I’m pretty sure I could live there someday.
Highlights:
-Two great Pixel Sessions.
-Seeing other Cubs fans.
-Very Midwest feel.
-Italian Beef and authentic cheesecake (Taste of Chicago).
-The intersection of Ohio and Michigan with Ohio on top (duh).
-Private driver.
-Very few jay-walking bandits.
-Met some great new friends / colleagues / potential clients.
-Got to meet Simon Rosenberg and hear his pitch.
-There’s a chance Michael Dell will start twittering.
Lows (or things to do next time):
-Didn’t get to see a Cubs game.
-Going home on a Friday night instead of playing here for the weekend.
-Didn’t go to the “beach.”
-Drake Hotel doesn’t have wifi in the rooms. Seriously.
-Didn’t go to any galleries or museums.
But like the Terminator, I’ll be back. (Oh no I didn’t…)
