So this past Friday I was interviewed by Carrie Sheffield (that’s her in the pic) of the Washington Times for a story on how Democrats were effectively using the Internet to raise yachtloads of money and what we were doing at Slatecard to help Repubs catch up.

Here’s the story:

My quote on how/when Republicans will start catching up:

“One of the biggest problems is that 50% of Americans still don’t have access to a high-speed Internet connection. Most of the people who don’t have a high-speed Internet connection are probably Republicans, so we’re not really playing with a level playing field in my opinion. So as we start to wire the whole country, we’ll start seeing all of our social conservatives, our gun owners, a lot of the people who live in anywhere America, really, we’ll start to field a full team. I think that will help us catch up.”

Just one of the reasons why I’m supporting InternetforEveryone.org.
