Gearing up for Halloween 09/10/08

Almost every year for Halloween, I’ve dressed up as something out of the ordinary.

Three years ago I dressed up like a BlackBerry. That was a fun costume — very detailed and creative.

Two years ago I was working on a Senate race in Michigan so I skipped Halloween in order to help beat up a liberal Democrat (that ended up winning).

Last year, YouTube.

This year, I’m thinking as going as a 3G iPhone. Oh the fun I’ll have picking out the apps.

Suggestions on apps? Other ideas?

If you are willing to leave the tech behind and go old school, may I suggest a Rubik’s Cube? The key is to make all the squares adjustable (felt and velcro on a box work well) so you can be progressively more solved during the night. It’s interactive, fairly easy to make, and somewhat creative.

@Katherine — I’ve seen the Rubik’s Cube done before — very, very well. I don’t think I could follow that act.

@Liz — ah heck yeah, shake it up!
