Cockscomb Flowers 08/24/08
On my way back from Whole Foods I stopped dead in my tracks when I spotted these ridiculously bright and interesting flowers at Faluh’s stand.
I chatted with my Faluh and he told me they are “Cockscomb’s.” I was sold.
The cockscomb’s real name is “Celosia.” They are a very unique and interesting flower. They’re very colorful. hard to the touch, non-aromatic, and resemble a furry coral. And they’re making me smile.
