bonjour Paris 10/14/08
When I went to bed last night around Midnight local time I figured I’d wake up an hour or two later due to the time difference. Not the case. I slept like a rock and woke up sans alarm around 8:30 am.
Recharged and ready to go I decided to take a day trip to Versailles – something I thought I wouldn’t be doing. Lucky for me the train station is literally across the street from my hotel.
Once I figured out the train (more like a MARC than an Amtrak) I grabbed a chocolate croissant and Latte which I ordered in French with minimal chuckles.
I’m now on the train enjoying the suburban scenery as we head out of Paris. Au revoir.
