a “me” day 06/28/08
I’ve been on the road so much this past week I haven’t had a chance to catch up on some things around the sweet pad, e.g., organize my closet, throw out some boxes I no longer need along with those horrible metal hangars that the dry cleaner gives me, juice up my iPod, write a blog post about the need for a national broadband strategy, pick-up/drop-off dry cleaning, hook up my Bose Home Theater, dusting, cleaning, laundry, etc.
And since I’ll be in DC for the week, I picked-up some fresh flowers from the guy that stands next to Whole Foods on the weekends. He gave me an extra gerber daisy because he recognizes me as a “regular.” Natch.
Today was my day to do whatever it was I needed to do. And now I’m finished. Woot!
Heading to Morton’s on Connecticut for dinner with some friends tonight. Who doesn’t love Saturday’s?
