Two of my favorite things in my apartment right now.
It’s important to keep this discussion going about communicating more effectively.
In my opinion, participating in discussions like this publicly are some of the key fundamental differences between people like me and those that run the Party. Those elitists don’t write blogs. They’re passive lurkers.
It’s been a long, fun, productive week at DAG.
Two new interns have started over the past two weeks, Nicola and Abby. They’ve already added serious value to our efforts. I appreciate them. And actually, I’m not sure how I’m going to live without them when they head back to college for their last year.
Changes are […]
Apple iPhone vs BlackBerry Curve 8300: Size Comparison,

I know that some people are going to wait for Android to come out this fall, but not me. I simply can’t wait any longer.
* The “a” key on my BlackBerry (circa August 2006 - not even as “cool” as the one in this […]
Stopped by Kramer Books on my way to meet up with a friend at dinner and picked up “India in Mind.” The book is a collection of stories, poems, etc from British and American authors who traveled and were inspired by India.
Perhaps it’s the fact that India is the world’s largest democracy.
Perhaps it’s the […]
Just passing Thomas Circle en route to DAG. This is my first mobile blog post (too bad it’s still from a circa 2006 BlackBerry).
Def listening to In Rainbows on the nano and giving dirty looks to jay-walking bandits.
Interesting piece by George Packer in The New Yorker says so.
This nugget from former Reagan aide Ed Rollins is worth pointing out:
Reagan turned conservatism into a forward-looking, optimistic ideology. “We started in 1980 and played addition,” Ed Rollins, Reagan’s political director, recalls. “‘Let’s go out and get Democrats.’ We attracted a great many young people […]

An event I’m putting on for the TechRepublican.com community.
Just bought a new pair of Gucci loafers online. Natch.
The “store” gave the option of using Google Checkout. I tried it. Me likey.
Now anytime I use Google Checkout I simply have to log-in with my Google ID. Smart. Convenient. Value-added to my online shopping experience.
For people like me who live in a city with a […]
I have a lot of Facebook friends. 1,153 to be exact. I’m obviously a fan of the platform.
But what grinds my gears about the Facebook events application is that when I go to invite my friends to an event, like this Saturday’s District Trust Charities fundraiser, I should be able to select all of my […]
After reading about Alex Bogusky’s upcoming attempt to make Microsoft products “cool” again, I decided to give this article previewing Microsoft’s upcoming “touch” software a try.
Of course, the arrogance which exudes from the pores of Microsoft’s CEO Steve Ballmer found its way into the story as he took a swipe at the market-share of our […]

Congratulations to Susan Scantland and Rob Littleton on their truly unique and amazing wedding. What a blast to catch up with good people.
Indeed, it is true: I have a lot of blogs (DAG, TechRepublican, Slatecard, and I sometimes blog at TechPresident). I blog in those spaces because I have something to say related to the focus of those blogs.
But the one place I’ve always wanted was a personal micro-blog.
A place to flesh out those Tweets and clever […]

A little birdy (called UPS) delivered our rad skins for the DAG office. Friday’s (and breaks) just got a whole lot cooler.
For today’s Southwest flight from Cincinnati back to DC, I picked up the latest edition of FastCompany (since my subscription has yet to engage — please hurry).
I enjoyed this article on Alex Bogusky’s latest challenge as an ad/brand guru: turning the ridiculous Microsoft behemoth into something he hopes will be remarkable and “cool.” From the […]
Counting on PS and MS to get me back to CMH to fly back to DCA. If we leave by Noon, we’re good.
Really wish I could get the audio plugin to work (see missing file below). Will work on that.
Everyday something bad is happening:
A powerful aftershock hit a poor, mountainous region of Sichuan Province on Sunday afternoon, toppling thousands of buildings and injuring hundreds.
Hello Olympics.
